Roughly 500 people attended the UNA’s Diwali 2025 event at the Wesbrook Community Centre on October 19, marking the annual ‘festival of lights’ and the Indian New Year.
Diwali is one of the biggest and most important festivals in India and local celebrations never disappoint, drawing campus residents and individuals from around the lower mainland, says Nidhi Raina, a member of the event’s organizing team.
