Due to an ongoing labour disruption, Canada Post will not be distributing the upcoming December issue of The Campus Resident newspaper to individual residences on UBC’s Point Grey campus.
Nevertheless, newspaper staff have prepared a contingency plan to ensure community members will still be able to get a copy of the newspaper when it is published and made available mid-next week.
As part of our plan, we are working with community partners to secure a number of locations where the paper will be available for pickup during the month of December. This includes local stores and shops, cooperating with strata councils and Village Gate Homes for pickup in residential buildings, and other locations throughout UBC. And as always, residents can pick up a copy of the newspaper at the Wesbrook Community Centre and the Old Barn Community Centre.
